For A Good Cause

I've decided that when the business is up and running, I will donate 1 per cent of sales to a charity. Since I had Anna I've changed my thinking and priorities and I get extremely emotional at the thought of how many children die every day. Every second, 17 children die of easily preventable causes in developing countries. In 2008 alone, 9.2 million children died before their fifth birthday, 22% from diarrhoea and 21% from pneumonia.
In the western world, there are 400,000 reports of child abuse in Australia every year. And child murder by the parents is happening more often.

I don't know what charity to direct my proceeds, but all I know is that I have to make it my personal mission to save the children. I can't just sit back and do nothing - I need to make a difference in this world, and if some children don't have a mother to love and care for them like I do for my daughter, then I need to fill that void and do my best to help as many children as I can.

We have to save the children.
